First Internship Experience

The Interview Chaos My first internship opportunity came through my university: a position at Qatar Post as a user experience researcher. I was super excited… until my first impression went completely off track. I was late for the interview , which already had me sweating. When I finally got there, the interviewer started with simple questions, and somehow, I messed up even the most basic one. He asked, “What’s your major?” and for some reason my brain froze, and I blurted out, “Bachelor.” I don’t even know why I said that. But thankfully, I corrected myself quickly, explaining that my major was HRM, Leadership, and Marketing . He then asked about my grades and CGPA. Since I was in a diploma program, we didn’t have a CGPA system; we were graded as Distinction, Merit, Pass, or Fail .
